The latest issue of the South Baltic Programme Newsletter “Compass” focuses on two major South Baltic events that were held in Schwerin, Germany between 28-29th November 2011 – the South Baltic Projects Forum and the South Baltic Annual Conference.
The Projects Forum gathered around 100 particiapants, including representatives of Lead Beneficiaries and Partners of ongoing South Baltic projects. Divided into four separate sets of workshops on project management, internal communication, reporting and monitoring, the Forum provided some very practical information concerning overall project implementation. The Forum was followed by the South Baltic Annual Conference where more than 120 participants not only had a chance to reflect on the progress of the Programme and its impact on the South Baltic area, but also discussed the future challenges and opportunities of the territorial co-operation in connection with the new programming perspective 2014-2020 and the current review process of the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region.
