3rd ERB Water Group meeting in Elbląg

The third meeting Euroregion Baltic Water Group within the MOMENT project will take place on 9th June 2011 in Elbląg and include a field trip to the Bauda river catchemt area.

Results of consultations on the 5th Cohesion Report

The public consultations on the Conclusions of the 5th Cohesion Report, organised by the European Commission  between 12th November 2010 and 31st January 2011, received  444 contributions with variety of views and opinions on the future of Cohesion Policy.

Poland unveils EU Presidency logo

On 10th May Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk officialy presented the logo of the upcoming Polish EU Presidency. The logo consists of six arrow head directed upwards in red – symbolising Poland with the national flag – orange, blue, green, black and yellow.

REGI seeks more funds for territorial cooperation

According to the Europolitics on-line daily, the European Parliament’s Committee on Regional Development (REGI) is in favour of increasing the budget allocated for territorial cooperation (Objective 3 of the Cohesion Policy) to 7% in the future EU cohesion budget.

South Baltic Programme approves 14 projects in the 6th Call for Proposals

During its meeting in Rostock, Germanny on 13th April 2011 the Steering Committee of the South Baltic Cross-border Co-operation Programme 2007-2013 decided to approve 14 projects amounting to 11 088 812,15 EUR (ERDF co-financing) in the framework of the 6th Call for Proposals.
